I - इश्क बड़ा बेदर्द (A-to-Z Challenge)
Here’s an attempt for English translation:
Brutal love is
Sometimes
it is salty
And
sometimes it’s sour
At
times it smells like wet soil
And
sometimes like smoke
At
times it seems like a chaplet
And
sometimes a gun
Sometimes
it is like an old wine, at times it is like butter milk
Brutal love is
There
are times, when it sounds like a great party
And
at times, it’s silence
Sometimes
it tastes like delicious food
And
sometimes it’s just raw flour
At
times it is acceptance
And
sometimes it is denial
At
times its happiness, and at times it’s like a thorn
Brutal love is
PS: I initially struggled to find out an appropriate english word for "बेदर्द" and finally, thanks to a fellow blogger Shine who helped me with the word 'Brutal' which we concluded is the closest to "बेदर्द" expression!!

Hypocrisy at it's best ~ 8th post for A-to-Z challenge
And
Debashish concluded his speech by saying, “It should always not be the woman to
make a sacrifice, she must be entitled to make her own choice. To live the way
she wishes to, to wear the clothes she is most comfortable with, to spend her
life with her choice of partner. I salute every woman on this planet to make it
what it is today”
A
thunderous applause followed while he made his way out from the venue of
National Women Convention.
As
he reached home, Nivedita, her wife hugged him and congratulated him for his
great speech, “You seem to be the star of the evening today, every girl had an eye on you and I am
feeling jealous now." She continued after a short pause, "By the way, let’s go out for our planned date”
“Will
you go like this?”, Debashish asked.
“Off
course, I had especially chosen this dress for our 5th Anniversary
celebration today.”, she replied.
“This
is too exposing dear, can you try that Salwar Suit, Majanta one……that looks so
great on you.”, Debashish asked.
There
was a long silence after that!!!

G for - गुड़िया थी वो मेरी ~ 7th day for A-to-Z Challenge

Easter Rhyming ~ Day 5 of a-to-z challenge
East, west, north & south
All have their own sets of
grieves and drouths
Some worship many gods &
some are monotheistic
The objective has always been
same
Except the misfortunes of
destructive interpretation
Rise of good & humanity is
what matters at the end
Easter, Eid, Diwali are just the words with same meaning!!

D for Dimple on his cheeks (A to Z challenge series)
I don't know if you can call it a guest post if it's written by your own wife. There are chances of misinterpretation that she may ask why you are considering her as guest.....but anyways. This is the first guest post on my blog by my lovely wife Garima Talwar -
Dimple on his cheeks
make me go mad & weak
His beautiful sight
Like the bright sunlight
that shining smile
I wish he could be mine
The moment I saw him first time
he looks like a natural rhyme
When he looked into my eyes
I skipped my beat in that sight
Words were short
I wish I could say a lot
I was into deep thoughts
When I realized, red handed I was caught
Was it chemistry or physics
I asked him out & took the risk
It proved to be the most beautiful day of my life
It's April 2015 now & I am his lovely wife!!!!

C for ~ Candle, canvas, camera & coach (A-to-Z challenge series)
I lighten people & places
Used for sophisticated decoration
Lately a source of fragrance too
I have to burn myself to do my job
I am Candle!!!
As thin as rake, though not as strong
My power multiplies if mixed with a bunch of colors
A platform where people brush their creativity
The outcome fetches a fortune with no scope of credit to me
I am the Canvas!!!
History isn't complete without me
You wouldn't know many things if I was not
around
I can capture what’s happening from Sun to Moon
never craved for recognition
of such achievements
I am the Camera!!!
I was the man working behind the scene
day & night, when England finally won world cup
after 26 years of continuous efforts
Worked very hard when India finally got what she deserved
Through what they called Dhoni’s army in 2011
I am the coach!!!
Be a candle if you are an activist
And canvas if you are a politician
Act like camera if you are a scientist
And be a coach if you are a teacher!!!!
PS: Are you one of them, and how do you relate if it is so?
