This Feeling.........

My friend came to me crying that he is single and he feels alone....etc..etc.

I told him...

"Being single sucks,But the feeling of being a free bird (I am not being so blunt to call it a khulla saand) compensates for the same"

@Readers: Would love to have your take on this :)

With love,
Hemant

  1. I couldn't agree more to the fact that 'freedom' is what we all need at some point in time and being single just reassures that fact! Commitment for many is a blessing in disguise but so is being single. :)

  3. Both have their advantages & disadvantages.... I would say enjoy whichever state you find yourself in instead of falling into the "grass is greener on the other side" trap!

  4. well, being single has its advantages...
let me quote one of my fav poems by A.E Housman---
"oh when i was in love with you,
then i was clean and brave,
and miles around the wonder grew,
    how well did i behave...

and now the fancy passes by,
    and nothing will remain,
and miles around they'll say that i,
    am quite myself again" :P

    so cheers to singledom!

  6. You already know my take on this... but still, it's great to be committed.... and to be honest, the freedom can very well exist in commitment too.
So i believe, being committed rock.

  9. Khula Saand. LMAO. :D

Well, according to me, you can have freedom while being committed, as well. I know that's kind of weird but, still.. That's just my take. :)
